Kingdom (2025)

Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, Kingdom (2025) is a six-part landmark natural history series that breaks away from traditional “biomes” to focus on the long-term character arcs of four rival predator families.

The series was filmed over five continuous years in a single 226-square-kilometer sector of South Luangwa National Park, Zambia, known as Nsefu. Because the crew stayed in one location for over 1,400 days, they were able to document deep family politics and shifting power dynamics in a style often compared to “Shakespearean drama” or Game of Thrones.
